I know I’m not the only one who finds the commercials the best part of the Super Bowl each year.
This year was no different.
I picked up on several themes – going pantless is the new black, men are easily emasculated and beer – just lots of beer. But the telecom and Web world got a lot of attention this year too (see the videos below the break):
Megan Fox showed the virtues of the Motorola Devour with MotoBlur (also demonstrated the theory that sex sells) :
Google reminded us (in a heart-warming way) that it is pretty good at search:
Qualcomm’s FloTV looked back on the media and men in three separate spots:
Boost Mobile featured football’s old-timers in a remake of the Chicago Bears Super Bowl Shuffle:
MetroPCS played on customers’ distrust of big wireless:
Vizio Internet Apps, introduced at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, didn’t even need all the Internet’s five-minutes-of-fame viral stars to look awesome to me:
