In an otherwise great week for wireless, AT&T and Verizon video progress remains a mixed bag, while wireline losses look even worse (despite AT&T digital phone milestone). Competing with cable proving tough but wireless growth seems unending.
As if complaining about 3G data network pricing isn’t enough, now we get complaints about 3G-capable hardware. No win situation for a game-changing capability.
Several things of note here: Amazon’s spectacular financial growth and performance; Kindles are selling, even at a high price point for a single-purpose device; Kindle app-on-iPad will be interesting to see and watch evolve versus Apple’s own e-reading plans.
