Sprint 4G a Perfect Match for Philadelphia Software Provider

Kayentis executives trial the new technology; see immediate benefits with customers

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Feb. 22, 2010 — Sprint’s 4G technology is making a Philadelphia-based software provider for the pharmaceutical and health care industry more efficient, responsive and valuable to its customers, and leaders at the company have taken note.

Executives at Kayentis, intrigued by the benefits of much faster download speeds and significant Web experience improvements of the technology, began experimenting with Sprint 3G/4G USB Modem U300 mobile broadband cards last year.

Motorola Completes Acquisition of BitBand

Strategic acquisition enhances Motorola’s On Demand Portfolio

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Feb. 19 — Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT - News) today announced that it completed the previously announced acquisition of BitBand, a leading provider of content management and delivery systems, specializing in video on demand for IPTV. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Integrated into Motorola’s Home business, the acquisition of BitBand will complement Motorola’s existing on demand product line which includes the Adaptive Media Management framework for content management and high-performance streaming servers for centralized and edge-based on demand networks. BitBand brings products tailored for IP video and expertise in IPTV solutions, as well as solutions for content delivery networks (CDN) and Over-the-Top video services.
