International and Domestic Wi-Fi Calling to All Vopium Users is Free,
Including to Those with Android, iPhone, Symbian and Windows Mobile Phones

COPENHAGEN, Dec. 19, 2011 – Although calling apps for the BlackBerry are widely available, they suffer from limitations and carrier-imposed requirements that undermine the benefits. Vopium is the first VoIP service provider to offer a Wi-Fi calling app through BlackBerry App World. The Vopium app does not require users to connect with a local call – a major limitation of many other Wi-Fi calling apps. XConnect helps service providers, and ultimately their users, see their way through bewildering choices by enabling secure and multi-protocol interconnection and interworking between disparate video communities, networks and devices. How Cloud Traffic will Grow 12-Fold by 2015

In the inaugural Global Cloud Index (2010 – 2015), Cisco estimates global cloud computing traffic will grow 12-fold from 130 exabytes to reach a total of 1.6 zettabytes annually by 2015 — that’s a 66 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR).

One zettabyte is equal to a sextillion bytes or a trillion gigabytes — 1.6 zettabytes is approximately equivalent to:

- 5 trillion hours of business Web conferencing with a webcam.
- 1.6 trillion hours of online high-definition (HD) video streaming.

Cloud is the fastest growing component of data center traffic, which itself will grow 4-fold at a 33 percent CAGR to reach 4.8 zettabytes annually by 2015. Cloud is also estimated today to be 11 percent of data center traffic, growing to more than 33 percent of the total by 2015. Cloud is becoming a critical element for the more

The number does not include ‘community hotspots’, where users share their own Wi-Fi access point with others, which add an additional 4.5 million worldwide.

China Mobile alone plans to deploy a million hotspots and Japan’s KDDI plans to grow its 10,000 Wi-FI hotspots to 100,000 within six months. The survey found that that this growth will be concentrated in three types of location: wide-area outdoor hotzones (e.g. parks); local-area outdoor hotzones more
