The Wireless History Foundation (WHF) has announced the names of four individuals who will be inducted into the Wireless Hall of Fame during the Foundation’s Oct. 5, 2010 dinner in San Francisco. The 2010 inductees are (in alphabetical order):
• LeRoy T. Carlson—founder and chairman emeritus of Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. and founder of U.S. Cellular, Chicago, IL
• Edward Samuel “Ted” Rogers, Jr. (posthumously)—president and CEO of Rogers Communications, Inc., who built Canada’s largest communications company, Toronto, ON
• Stanley T. Sigman—retired president and chief executive officer of AT&T Mobility , San Antonio, TX
• Raymond C. Trott—RF engineering pioneer and founder of Trott Communications Group, Irving, TX
