The Cloud Routing service is destination-agnostic and offers call centers the ability to quickly scale up and down as call volumes fluctuate. This solution also empowers call center staff with the ability to monitor remote contact center agents, generate reports, and view real-time telemetry, similar to sending calls to an inbound contact center queue. Telcentris’ VoxOx In Business Division Introduces Short Call Duration Service for Outbound Call Centers

voxoxib_btelcentris_v2.jpgVoxOx In Business, a division of cloud communications provider Telcentris, introduced its short duration call service today. The new service is geared towards outbound call centers and IT channel agents that cater to call center traffic. The foundation of the solution is the company’s unique service delivery platform, which, in conjunction with new carrier agreements and infrastructure enhancements, made this launch possible.

“Our platform, which was built to give away our consumer service VoxOx for free to millions of users, was specifically designed to handle very high call volumes at very low infrastructure cost. This has enabled us to create a short call service as part of our wholesale offerings,” said Tad Nikolich, VP of business sales at Telcentris.

Typically, short duration calls are low margin and hence considered unprofitable by most carriers. According to the company, on average, outbound call center traffic tends to be between six and 30 seconds with many calls not answered at all. “While most carriers don’t want outbound call center traffic, we welcome it,” added Cliff Rees, president of Telcentris. “It’s relatively easy for us to provide this service, and there are not many carriers out there that have spent the time building infrastructure that can handle short duration traffic at a low price.” more
