Amdocs Completes Acquisition of Bridgewater Systems, Enabling Service Providers to Redefine the Data Experience

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Bridgewater Systems Corporation (TSX: BWC) (”Bridgewater”), a publicly held provider of policy management and network control solutions. Amdocs acquired 25,178,827 common shares of Bridgewater (representing 100 percent of Bridgewater’s outstanding common shares) for CAD$8.20 per share in cash, through a wholly owned, indirect subsidiary of Amdocs. Japan’s Largest Internet Exchange Provider Leverages Spirent Solutions for 100G Ethernet Testing

Tokyo – July 26, 2011 – The growth in Internet traffic across service provider networks as well as Internet Exchange Points (IXP) is driving the deployment of 100G Ethernet networks. To validate the readiness of Japan’s carriers to support high speed Ethernet services, Internet Multifeed Co. (MF) conducted the first 100G Ethernet IXP Interoperability Test (IOT) on its Japan Network Access Point (JPNAP), the country’s largest Internet exchange. The test leveraged the award-winning Spirent TestCenter solution, which was provided by Toyo Corporation, Spirent’s channel partner in Japan.
