Sprint Partner Interexchange Network Community Gains Momentum with New Partner Agreements and 67 Million On-net Community Telephone Numbers

Sprint introduces termination-only Partner Interexchange Network (PIN)
PIN offers infinite scalability and greater cost savings as partner community grows

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Aug. 30, 2010 – Sprint (NYSE: S) began successfully passing Partner Interexchange Network (PIN) traffic in April and has expanded its PIN partner base, which currently consists of MSOs, ILECs, CLECs and others, creating an on-net community of 67 million telephone numbers, and is on target to reach 100 million by the end of the year. This growth will result in greater savings for all Sprint PIN customers.

In addition to these advancements, Sprint is now offering termination-only PIN, which allows customers an avenue to establish interconnection arrangements with Sprint’s growing on-net PIN community and their extensive off-net routes as a way to lower termination costs. Equinix Plans to Build $63 Million International Business Exchange Data Center in Hong Kong

The Second Hong Kong Data Center Will Service Strong Demand from the Banking and Financial Market Participants and the Expansion of Cloud and IT Service Providers

FOSTER CITY, Calif. & HONG KONG–Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq:EQIX), a provider of global data center services, today announced plans to build its second International Business Exchange (IBX) data center, HK2, in Hong Kong. The new $63 million HK2 IBX data center will provide total capacity for more than 1,450 cabinet equivalents. Targeted for opening in the third quarter of 2011, the $20 million first phase of the HK2 IBX center will offer an initial 450 cabinet equivalents.
