Agencies Plan to Consolidate Final Two Funding Rounds, Seek Comment on Program Enhancements

WASHINGTON, Nov. 10, 2009 - The USDA’s Rural Utilities Service (RUS) and the Commerce Department’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) today announced they are streamlining the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act’s broadband grant and loan programs by awarding the remaining funding in just one more round, instead of two rounds, to increase efficiency and better accommodate applicants. more

RAD Releases Enhanced Version of Airmux-400 Broadband Wireless Multiplexer

RADMAHWAH, New Jersey, November 10, 2009 – RAD Data Communications, Inc., the North American subsidiary of RAD Data Communications Ltd., has announced the release of software version 2.3 for its high-capacity Airmux-400 broadband wireless multiplexer. While still offering up to 50 Mbps full-duplex throughput of Ethernet and/or up to 16 T1s in a variety of unlicensed bands (plus the 4.9 Ghz public safety band), version 2.3 of the Airmux-400 includes a quartet of important new features: a new spectrum view tool, hub site synchronization (HSS) capabilities, support for monitored hot standby (MHS), and the option to select between Diversity and MIMO antenna modes.
All new Airmux-400 orders will ship with version 2.3 at the same price of the previous version 2.1, and existing Airmux-400 customers can also acquire it as an add-on via a free software upgrade.

Storage Leader Turns to Fanfare for Strategic Testing Platform to Accelerate Product Development Lifecycle
